Promotional leverage is a very versatile marketing tool, with which you can effectively achieve your awareness, lead generation, engagement and conversion objectives.
We speak of 'promotion' when a company asks the public to do a certain action and promises a prize to all those who join or only to a few, selected on the basis of luck or merit. To give a few examples, the requested action may be simply filling out a form with your data, or creating and sharing content, up to the purchase of a product or service. The company decides what the participants must do and has the right to verify that each participation complies with the established rules; in turn, it is required to respect the award promise in the time and manner in which it has communicated it, and cannot revoke it except in exceptional situations (the Covid-19 pandemic, for example). In Italy, this subject is well regulated by
Presidential Decree 26/10/2001, n. 430 and subsequent additions, under the supervision of the Ministry of Companies and Made in Italy (MIMIT), so you need to be sure that your initiative complies with the regulations in force (the law does not allow ignorance!) and then it is necessary to comply with mandatory bureaucratic, fiscal and administrative acts.
Attention! Not all initiatives fall within the scope of the legislation!
