Set participation rules

In this step, it is necessary to set the rules of participation, that is, the essential actions that participants must take and the conditions that they must comply with in order to be entitled to compete.
A
Constraints on participation

Basically, participation in a contest is free. Instead, indicate if you want to link it to the possession of a proof of purchase Or say a coupon code.

It is possible to add both options but in fact one replaces the other, so it is recommended to choose only one also so as not to add too many limits to participation.
A1 Purchase document. In this case, the participant must have a receipt and/or an invoice proving the purchase.

Choose this option if you want to immediately collect all the data from the proof of purchase, which can be a receipt or an invoice. You can also upload an image of the receipt.
A2Code. To participate, the user must enter a code that he has obtained previously - for example printed inside the packaging of the promoted product, or on a postcard received at the point of sale at the time of purchase, or even contained in the confirmation email after an online purchase. The code can also be a user's unique identifier, such as the card number related to a club membership.

⚠️ IMPORTANT The number of codes uploaded must be sufficient to allow all users to participate. Once the campaign has started, they can no longer be added, modified or replaced.

The codes must be loaded in the appropriate field A3.

⚠️ REQUIREMENTS The file to be uploaded must:
- be in TXT format
- contain up to a maximum of 100,000 codes, separated by a comma.

To work properly, the codes must be:
- unique, so that they are associated with that single game and the individual participant. After entering, the code is' burned 'and is no longer usable.
- Alphanumerical, that is, a random composition of only letters and numbers, in order to discourage the forced entry of serial codes Fake. The letters can be uppercase and lowercase.
- compounds from 6 characters up to a maximum of 10, without spaces or dashes.

If you need support for creating codes, click here. We will create a file that can be used for the contest, which you can integrate into your systems or use for printing on postcards, coupons, vouchers or others.
👍 SUGGESTION The length of the code, i.e. the number and sequence of characters to be used, depends on the expected number of participants and the margin of safety that you want to obtain.

As an example, for an expected participation of 100,000 people, it is advisable to generate a list of codes consisting of 9 characters each, as in this example: FT5PR67FG.

It is good practice not to use letters and numbers with a similar design because they can be confused and make participation more complicated. For example 0 and O or 8 and B or even I and 1.
B
Participation limits

You can restrict participation using up to three criteria. They can also be used together but it is recommended to choose at most one only so as not to burden the experience of participation with too many constraints.
B1 Age of majority. By choosing this option, the field relating to the date of birth will be added to the participation form as mandatory: WINK will automatically verify the age of 18 and will allow participation or not.

⚠️ NOTE Consider that in Italy you must be of legal age to participate in a prize competition.
B2 Minimum purchase amount. Indicate the minimum total amount that the consumer must spend buying the participating products. The amount concerns the total total of the receipt, not the sum of the affiliated products alone. The mandatory field for entering this amount will be added to the participation form, in terms of the participant's self-declaration; participations with lower amounts will be blocked.

⚠️ NOTE This item is activated only if a purchase document has been requested such as Constraint on participation.
The correctness of the amount must be verified later, by means of an optical reading of the loaded receipt (OCR) if the service has been enabled, or manually by an operations service. Entries with smaller amounts will not be accepted.
B3 Minimum quantity of products purchased. Enter the minimum number of affiliated products (i.e. among those that are the subject of the initiative) that the participant must purchase to participate. If the number is lower than the indicated threshold, the bet is not accepted.
C
How many times can a participant win?

Here you can allow multiple wins or not.
C1 One time only. A user can win at most once.
C2 Multiple times. A user can win multiple times, different types of prizes or even the same.
