How to set up emails

Personalize the messages that users receive while participating in the initiative.
▶ Set the sender▶ Types of messages▶ Personalize your messages
⚠️ IMPORTANT: The texts you find inserted in the platform are only sample texts and you must modify them according to your needs.
A
Set the sender

Enter an email address containing the name of the contest, or of the promoting company or brand, so that it is easily recognizable by the user, for example: grandeconcorso@acme.com or noreply@grandeconcorso.com.

⚠️ IMPORTANT To prevent the SMTP provider from blocking the sending of emails, it is necessary that the box actually exists, even during the stage of the initiative.

The sender's address must consist of only lowercase letters and possibly numbers. Do not use at all:
- accented or special characters (for example, À È Ì OR ùù *+^? =°/ etc... ),
- emojis (which can be added instead in the subject of the email)
- Misconceptive words who could send the email in spam

⚠️ WARNING It may happen that users reply to automatic emails sent by the platform to report problems or request information. For this reason, it is advisable that the email entered really exists and is manned by someone. Alternatively, to limit misunderstandings, you should enter an address Noreply@
B
Types of messages
‍‍
The platform provides two types of messages.
B1 End of transaction email

This email is delivered to all participants after they have submitted the form, for example to thank them for participating or - in the case of an Instant Win or a Rush & Win - to tell them “Too bad, you didn't win this time”. It is possible to deactivate its sending using the orange switch next to the title.
B2 Winning email

The winning email is an email that is delivered only to the winners of an Instant Win prize to confirm the win and includes the image of the prize (which has been previously uploaded, as indicated in point 5 of this guide). It is possible to deactivate its sending using the orange switch next to the title.

C1Subject

Enter a subject that already indicates the content of the message so that it is easily recognizable by the user, for example: Congratulations you won!

The object can consist of letters and numbers.

Some precautions:
- Avoid writing in capital letters;
- Avoid exclamation marks and use little punctuation;
- Avoid accented characters;
- Avoid currency symbols and too many numbers;
- Avoid using Misconceptive words that could send the email in spam.

😃 It is allowed to insert one or two emojis. However, consider that some email programs are not compatible and may not display them (instead of them, signs such as, or simply the word 'emoji' would appear).
C2Text of the message

You can personalize the messages by writing your own text, for example with instructions to send the original of the receipt or instructions to receive the prize.

To add dynamic fields within the text (for example to show the name of the participant or a link to the rules...) you can use the quick commands (shortcode), clicking on the highlighted words and pasting them into the text:
Kudos [username], you won a fantastic [award]!
For more details on how to receive the prize, read the [regulation].
